Cor 'Limey

Elocin Specialty Foods have collaborated with Hawks Nest Orchard to bring you the perfect cocktail mixer.

  

In summer it is great to be able to cool down with an ice-cold drink or cocktail. A well iced G&T while sitting on the boat or a crisp & cold Mojito while cooking the BBQ are one of the treats of summer. These drinks, like so many cocktails, are best with the sharp tang of lime. Unfortunately in summer limes are worth their weight in gold. Or there is...Cor 'Limey.

Cor 'Limey is a crisp and refreshing lime cordial. It is perfect for making any cocktail that requires lime as an ingredient. For a non-alcoholic delight mix 1 part Cor 'Limey with 5 parts water (soda water, tonic water or even lemonade).

Each bottle of Cor 'Limey comes with 1 of 5 cocktail recipes, such as the Mojito below. Collect them all for a summer of fun!

 

Mojito

2-3 parts light Rum

1 part Cor 'Limey

2-4 mint sprigs

soda water

Muddle the mint with a splash of soda water in a mixing glass until you smell the mint. Add the lime and rum and shake with ice.

Strain over cracked ice in a highball glass. Top with soda water, garnish with mint sprig and serve.
