Pumpernickle Bread

This is lovely dark, rich and chewy bread. It stays very moist and tender for days. Using the Buckwheat Bread Mix. Follow the cooking instructions on the packet, making the additions as follows:

3 tsp caraway seeds
1 Tbs cocoa powder, sifted
3 Tbs molasses

Add the caraway seeds and the cocoa powder to the dry bread mix. Add the molasses in with the wet ingredients. Combine the dry and wet ingredients and mix thoroughly. Place the dough in a greased and floured loaf tin, allow it to rise for 30 minutes before baking as per the instructions on the packet.
